USA Admission Requirement For Masters

Master's (Eligibility Criteria)

1. Completed Bachelor's degree:

   • Note: Most universities do not accept a 3-year degree for Master's admissions. However, some universities do accept a 3-year degree but require English proficiency (e.g., IELTS, Duolingo, PTE, TOEFL, or MOI).

2. English Proficiency:

   • Minimum IELTS requirement is 5.5, but very few universities will accept it.

   • 6.5 is the standard overall score required, but many universities accept 6.

   • Very few universities may consider individual IELTS section scores, focusing instead on the overall score.

Checklist for Master's:

• Passport (applicant)

• Statement of Purpose (SOP)

• Bachelor’s Certificate & Transcript

• English Proficiency Certificate (IELTS/Duolingo/PTE/TOEFL or MOI)

• Letter of Recommendation (LOR):

  • Master’s – 2/3 recommendation letters recommended.

  • The official email account should be mentioned in the recommendation letter.

• Job Experience Certificate/work recommendation letter

• Resume/CV

• Bank Statement

Note:

• Recommendation letters must come directly from the recommender. The recommender will receive an email notification and upload the letter themselves.

• Some universities may accept letters uploaded by students or included in the application package, but the majority of U.S. universities require letters to come directly from the recommender.

• Recommendation letters must come from official email addresses. Universities will not accept letters from Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook.

• Letters can come from professors, lecturers, colleagues, bosses, or employers.
